George M. Houser of the American Committee on Africa was one of eight petitioners appeared before the Special Committee against Apartheid to condemn the killings and violence by the South African regime during the last week and to call for action by the UN and the international community. The Committee observed a minute of silence in memory of all those martyrs who have been killed in South Africa for their opposition to the inhuman policy of apartheid.
