About September 1985
Poster advertising an anti-apartheid art show at Willard Straight Hall on Cornell University campus October 7-13, 1985. The art show was part of a campaign to get Cornell University to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. The design of the poster is a black and white drawing with a young African at the front, and several other smaller figures, one of whom is holding a pole that seems to be connected to a banner with the text about the art show. A picture of a poster that reads “DIVEST NOW” is at the bottom of the design. Size: 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
