About late September 1985
Poster advertising an anti-apartheid sit-in on October 3, 1985 at Day Hall on the Cornell University campus. The sit-in was part of a campaign to get Cornell University to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. Across the middle of the poster is an outline drawing of a chain, with two links on either side and a figure that is apparently a African man being held between the two parts of the chain. Around this figure is the round portion of a female symbol. Size: 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
