Solomon Mahlangu Freedom College (SOMAFCO) was a school for students who fled from South Africa. Located near Morogoro, Tanzania, it existed from 1978 to 1992. The white T-shirt has a square design in the green, black, and yellow colors of the African National Congress (ANC). A black child is reading a book with text and a map. Around the child’s head are four white flying birds.
