Unity in Action and the U.S. Out of Southern Africa Network organized a picket of a concert by Shirley Bassey at the Wilshire Theater on September 12 and 13, 1985. The organizations asked the public to join the boycott of Shirley Bassey's concerts and recordings unless and until she denounces apartheid.
