A protest against Michigan State University (MSU) Foundation for investing in companies operating in South Africa. Text on the top of the coffin reads: "In memory of those who have died in the struggle for freedom in South Africa. Their spirit of freedom lives on." A divestment campaign, led by the Southern Africa Liberation Committee, was successful. (MSU had previously divested in 1973. The MSU Foundation has an overlapping but separate board.)
