Patricia Beeman and Debby Miller volunteer at a literature table at an event sponsored by the Southern Africa Liberation Committee. The literature table was set up at many events from 1978-1987, including Friday evening film showings for many years on the campus of Michigan State University. Members of SALC referred to it as the "blue tulip table" because of the African print cloth used to cover the table.
