Kgati Sathekge, a South African and member of the African National Congress, received an award from the Peace Education Center and the Michigan Legislature Peacemaker award. He was President of the Southern African Liberation Committee at that time. One of the awards was presented by David Wiley (shown behind Sathegke), Director of the Michigan State University African Studies Center and a participant in anti-apartheid campaigns.
