Anti-Apartheid Movement
London, United Kingdom
Late 1980s
The campaign for the total isolation of apartheid was one of the central pillars of the work of the Anti-Apartheid Movement from its foundation as the Boycott Movement in 1959. Campaigns were organized to isolate apartheid in every arena, including sport and culture, against military and nuclear collaboration and for comprehensive international economic sanctions. This poster was designed to be displayed on placards which were carried on demonstrations and pickets.
