Demonstration against the recruitment of U.S. mercenaries to fight for the white Rhodesian regime against the liberation movements the Zimbabwe African National Union and the Zimbabwe African People's Union which had formed the Patriotic Front. Most likely this demonstration was organized by the Southern Africa Anti-Mercenary Coalition, a San Francisco-based organization. [Note: Date unknown. Possibly this is the demonstration mentioned in a May 30, 1979 letter on this website. Possibly earlier, 1978.]
