The Municipal Workers Union of South Africa (MWUSA) was one of several Congress of South African Trade Union (COSATU) affiliates that merged in 1987 to form the South African Municipal Workers Union (SAMWU). The round button has a yellow background with "MWUSA" in red block letters around the top. An image appears below in a half-circle, containing a black face in profile facing left on a white background and a white face in profile facing right on a black background. The full name of the union appears in black text on white stripes with black borders.
