Oslo, Norway
March 8-11, 1990
Participants in the International Workshop on Sanctions held in Oslo, Norway in March 1990 organized by the Norwegian Council for Southern Africa (NOCOZA, Fellesrådet for det sørlige Afrika). Participants included anti-apartheid activists from across Europe, the United States and New Zealand. Held just a month after the unbanning of the African National Congress (ANC) and the release of Nelson Mandela, activists considered the way forward and how to prevent the premature lifting of sanctions.
