A three-member delegation of the United Nations General Assembly's Special Committee of 24 on decolonization visited the liberated areas of Guinea-Bissau at the invitation of the Partido Africano Independencia da Guine e Cabo Verde (PAICG). Members of the mission are seen visiting the Aerlomo Lopez Cruz boarding school located in the Cubucare sector, Southern Zone, April 5, 1972. Members of the mission were Horacio Sevilla-Borji (Ecuador), Chairman; Folke Löfgran (Sweden); and Kamel E. Belkhiria (Tunisia). The school was named after a teacher who died while protecting the students during a Portuguese air raid in 1965. Left to right: Mr. Belkhiria, Mr. Sevilla-Borja and Mr. Löfgren.
