Anti-Apartheid Poster Calendar 1978 - page for November. In 1976/7 the American Committee on Africa (ACOA) held an anti-apartheid poster contest. ACOA produced calendars for the years 1978 and 1979 from the posters. Original poster by Sid Bingham. The full text on the poster is: "If there are people who are raising your hopes that there will one day be one-man, one-vote in the white Parliament for you, then they are misleading you, for that will never happen, … whites will continue to govern South Africa. – Prime Minister Vorster, Republic of South Africa."
