Walter and Albertina Sisulu sing N'Kosi Sikelel'li Africa at Canaan Baptist Church in Harlem. Walter Sisulu had recently been elected Deputy President of the African National Congress (ANC). Albertina Sisulu was Deputy President of the ANC Women's League. Canaan Baptist Church, led by Senior Pastor Wyatt Tee Walker, had a long record of supporting the liberation struggle. Walker was also President of the Board of the American Committee on Africa. The Sisulu's were in the U.S. as guests of The Africa Fund and participated in The Africa Fund's 25th anniversary celebration. Photo reproduced from ACOA Action News, Number 32, Fall 1991.
