Banner unfolds outside Standard Oil's office in California, November 13, 1979. Supporters of Zimbabwe's Patriotic Front invaded the downtown San Francisco offices of Standard Oil (later renamed Chevron), unfurling a huge banner from the third floor window. The banner called for the enforcement of the United Nations oil embargo against Rhodesia and an end to Standard's illegal oil shipments to the country.
