Poster about hearing on the extraction of Namibian uranium held at United Nations on July 7-11, 1980. The design features the face of an African miner wearing a helmet with a light; this image is black, yellow, blue, and green. Behind this image is a green map of Namibia. Above the map is a mushroom cloud in yellow and red; the red explosion begins at the bottom of the poster, below the map. Across the bottom is text from Decree No. 1, adopted by the United Nations Council for Namibia on September 27, 1974. This poster also was included in a United Nations resource packet, "For Self-Determination and Genuine National Independence for Namibia." Size: 24 x 36 inches.
