![Some 300 people protest corporate investment in apartheid South Africa on June 16, 1980 on the anniversary of the Soweto uprising. Rev. Herbert Daughtry of The House of The Lord Church organized youth to march from Brooklyn across the Brooklyn Bridge. The demonstration was organized by the Ad Hoc Committee to Commemorate the Soweto Uprising.
