Button issued in support of independence for Namibia. The black round button contains a stippled map of Africa on the right side of the circle. The map becomes more densely black moving toward West Africa; Namibia appears in bright red. To the left of the map, "Free Namibia," appears in white; the last letter of "Namibia" defines the coast of Namibia. "DMNA LCA" in small white print at the bottom of the button is the Division for Mission in North America of the Lutheran Church in America. This button was also produced with a white background, black text and image of Africa except Namibia in red, and with an orange background and blue text and image of Africa....
