The round button shows a red continent of Africa on a green background. From the mid-point of the left of the button is a black faucet that extends into the map, with a large black drop falling onto South Africa. The text is in black around the bottom of the button. The button was produced by the Sanctions Working Group and distributed at a conference calling for an oil embargo against South Africa in March 1980. The button was also distributed by two of the Group's members (Terisa Turner and Sybil Wong) after the conference in Zimbabwe in the lead-up to Zimbabwe's independence.
