The Africa Fund announces the appointment of Susie Johnson as its new Director of Programs. She will assume responsibility for the program engaging state and municipal public officials with efforts to build a constructive U.S. policy toward Africa. Johnson previously worked for Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer, the Ms. Foundation for Women, American Express, and the Mayor's Office for Economic Development, in addition to spending time in Africa.
