The report says in addition the National Black Caucus of State Legislators, the National League of Cities' affiliate, the National Black Caucus of State and Local Elected Officials, the Women's Network, the women's legislative affiliate of the National Conference of State Legislatures, and the National Order of Women Legislators are represented. The report says delivering the Opening Ceremony lecture at the Akina Mama wa Africa Afrika Women's Leadership Institute convened in Kampala, Uganda, enabled us to make connections with the next generation of women leaders from throughout the continent, and to build on connections made at the Economic Commission for Africa's women's conference which I attended last year. Akina is the only continent-wide network of women leaders.
