The Research Department has responded to questions from local, state and Congressional elected officials, denominational officials, local pastors, students, workers, labor leaders, and local activists such as Washington State peace activists concerned about Boeing's airplane sales to South Africa. The Africa Fund provided support to the United Democratic Front (UDF) and South African refugees.
