Memorandum to ALSC Steering Committee Members from Nelson N. Johnson, Chairman of the Material Production and Distribution Committee. The memorandum accompanied the ALSC HANDBOOK FOR STRUGGLE about the campaign to repeal the Byrd Amendment to return the U.S. to compliance with United Nations sanctions against Rhodesia. People are asked to hold a demonstration on this campaign near a federal building in their town on September 19, 1973 at noon and also to collection signatures on a petition by the next day.
