Invitation to people who have supported the struggle to an informal gathering to celebrate the independence of Mozambique on June 25 at the home of William and Elizabeth Landis in New York City. There will be brief, impromptu statements from some of those present and FRELIMO MUSIC and POETRY. Two poems published by FRELIMO in 1969 and 1970 are reprinted on the invitation: "How can we tell you the size of our dream?!" and "We never accepted." RSVP to the American Committee on Africa (ACOA). The invitation mentions Eduardo Mondlane and Samora Machel.
