One reaffirms support for United Nations sanctions against Rhodesia and urges Congress to restore import prohibitions on chrome from Zimbabwe (Rhodesia). The other expresses support for the declaration of independence by Guinea-Bissau and calls upon the U.S. government to recognize the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
