The press release reports on a statement adopted by the 33-member executive board of the American Committee on Africa (ACOA) urging the Carter Administration to reject the "internal agreement" on Rhodesia. The release says George M. Houser, ACOA executive director, charged that the agreement between Ian Smith and three African leaders "creates the facade of a new structure without the reality." It also notes that the Frontline States and other independent African states have rejected the agreement. The press release discusses the Patriotic Front.
