Mailing about a West Coast tour by Joshua Nessen, Student Coordinator of the American Committee on Africa. The objectives of the tour are to hold strategy meetings with student and community groups about how to organize for divestment and develop related campaigns in support of southern African liberation movements (e.g. material aid and political prisoner support work); provide groups with literature and other materials; show the film "Six Days in Soweto" and a slideshow about women under apartheid; and build support for the Spring 1985 Weeks of Anti-Apartheid Action. Since 1976, students at 40 schools have forced over $175 million of South Africa-linked stock to be divested.
