This copy of a press release issued by the Chemical Workers International Union (CWIU) about Mobil's disinvestment from South Africa says that Mobil's Chairman in the U.S. has admitted to the New York Times that its "disinvestment" is nothing but corporate camouflage. It says that Mobil will allow GENCOR to continue to use the Mobil logo and the technology and formulas being used in Mobil's operations. The press release says Mobil presumably will also have to arrange the oil supplies for GENCOR, which has no experience in international oil markets.
