Press release announces a demonstration by New York-based community activists at CBS protesting the murder of Godfrey Sicelo Dlomo and calling for the release of all South African political prisoners. Dlomo, 18 years of age, was found murdered in Soweto five days after police detained him for questioning about statements he made in the CBS News' documentary, "Children of Apartheid." In addition to speaking out courageously about his own detention, Dlomo was a staff member of the Detainees Parents' Support Committee. The demonstration is endorsed by the American Committee on Africa, the Patrice Lumumba Coalition, Westpac, and the New York Rainbow Coalition.
