Press release announcing that the American Committee on Africa (ACOA) and it tax-exempt associate, The Africa Find, are moving their accounts to The Amalgamated Bank of New York, the nation's only labor bank. The bank has stated that it will not make loans to South Africa. The press release quotes George M. Houser, executive director of ACOA, and Jacob M. Sheinkman, chairman of the bank's board of directors and secretary-treasurer of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union.
