Reprint of an article by Louise Haysom about Dumisani Kumalo, his life in South Africa and role in the divestment campaign in the U.S. as Project Director of the American Committee on Africa (ACOA). The article is based largely on an interview. The article says Kumalo has educated people about South Africa and tried to get the U.S. to work for policies supporting freedom in Southern Africa. The article is reprinted from The Weekly Mail, October 11-18, 1985.
