The press release says the recipient of the award, Charles W. Engelhard, is the single largest U.S. investor in South Africa. Sponsors of the demonstration include CORE, New Jersey NAACP, Students for a Democratic Society, and the American Committee on Africa. The press release says slogans to be displayed will include: "BLACK SWEAT PRODUCES GREEN DOLLARS FOR ENGELHARD," "AFRICAN SLAVE WAGES PROFIT U.S. CORPORATIONS," "ENGELHARD THE ORIGINAL GOLDFINGER - FORBES MAGAZINE," and "WE PROTEST N.C.C.J. AWARD TO ENGELHARD."
