Leaflet about Mary-Louise Hooper. The leaflet says Hooper immigrated to South Africa in 1955 and worked for two years as assistant to Chief Albert J. Luthuli, President of the African National Congress. The leaflet says since 1958 Mrs. Hooper has been West Coast Representative of the Africa Defense and Aid Fund, an organization set up and administered by the American Committee on Africa. The African National Congress appointed Hooper to their official delegation to the All-African Peoples Conferences held in Accra, Ghana, in 1958; Tunis, 1960, and Cairo, 1961. [Note: Most likely this leaflet was produced in second half of 1961.]
