A cover letter announces a brief speaking tour for Michael Scott. The mailing says: For more than a dozen years, the Rev. Michael Scott has been coming to the United Nations in New York representing the cause of the Africans in South West Africa. This began in 1946, when South West Africans called upon him to take a petition in their behalf to the U.N., as they were forbidden to go themselves. Rev. Scott is founder of the Africa Bureau of London and its publication, Africa Digest. The mailing includes two enclosures, a biographical sketch, The American Committee on Africa Announces a Speaking Tour for Michael Scott and Request Form for Michael Scott Lecture.
