The press release announces that n Saturday, May 9th, members and supports of the Stanford Committee for a Responsible Investment Policy (SCRIP), including faculty, students, staff and community residents, will convene once again on campus for a reunion. May 9th is the 10th anniversary of the sit-in at the Old Union that led to 294 arrests and nationwide headlines. Ten years ago SCRIP questioned Stanford University's policy of investing in U.S. forms crucial to South Africa's apartheid system.
