Press release of the text of a speech by Tom Mboya at the African Freedom Day Rally hosted by the American Committee on Africa. The speech says "You have heard speeches by Senator Humphrey and by fellow freedom fighters from Angola, Northern Rhodesia, Southern Rhodesia, and other parts of Africa." In the speech Mboya says he supports President Nkrumah's 8-point program for the Congo given at the United Nations and wonders why the United States has difficulty accepting it.
