Leaflet announces a protest against Engelhard Minerals and Chemicals and Charles Engelhard sponsored by the Southern Africa Committee of the University Christian Movement and the American Committee on Africa at the annual stockholders meeting in Newark, NJ on May 1. The leaflet says: "How much money has Chairman Engelhard made from his American South-African Investment Company off the sweat of black African labor?" noting that the company owns substantial shares in gold and copper mining operations in South Africa.
