Divest has produced a 30 minute slide/tape show, The Massachusetts South Africa Connection, to explain the issues around Senate Bill 984 which would require Massachusetts state pension funds to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. The show introduces people to apartheid, reveals United States' corporate involvement in South Africa, ad concludes by presenting what can be done to get Massachusetts to divest its pension fund of stocks of corporations that are in South Africa. Showing the slide show was an important part of Mass. Divest's campaign in support of Senate Rill 984.
