Executive Order of Mayor Raymond L. Flynn Prohibiting City of Boston Departments from Purchasing Shell Oil Products. The order notes that the Shell Oil Company profits from the South African apartheid system by supplying the South African government, military and police with oil. The National Labor Boycott Shell Committee sought to get cities across the United States to pass such resolutions.
