The CFM is preparing "OUR DREAM HAS THE SIZE OF FREEDOM--The struggle for Liberation in Mozambique," a 10-page booklet on the history of colonialism, liberation in Mozambique, and U.S. involvement. It also is producing a new brochure on CFM entitled "SUPPORT THE MOZAMBICAN STRUGGLE." CFM aided the U.S. Representative of FRELIMO, S.M. Khan, in the September 25 commemoration of the beginning of the armed struggle in Mozambique. CFM is continuing to raise money for transistor radios and investigating the best way to deliver them to FRELIMO. At FRELIMO's request, CFM is planning a button for use in Africa that will have a FRELIMO logo and inscription in FRELIMO colors. The Committee plans to distribute literature at several meeting this fall in New York; to expand its available literature list, and collect information on films. Steve Goldfield of Oakland LSM reported at a CFM meeting about the food and clothes campaigns of the Liberation Support Movement (LSM). CFM is now is correspondence with LSM Information Center in Vancouver about raising funds for a printing press for MPLA in Angola. Goldfield also reported on his research on Dow and the use of herbicides in Angola. A poster of FRELIMO President Samoa Machel is on sale for $1.00. The article mentions the Organization of African Unity (OAU), Southern African liberation movements, the United Nations, African missions to the U.N., and African student groups.
