This was the final mailing of the Committee to Support the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The mailing included a photo on of Gil Fernandes, a member of the Supreme Council of the PAIGC accepting a scroll bearing the "Message of Solidarity from the People of the United States to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau" presented to him at a Celebration of Solidarity held on September 24, 1974. It also included Final Report. The mailing says the Committee wishes to express its most profound appreciation to the individuals and church agencies who made this campaign possible; without their generos1ty, it would not have happened. This Campaign would not have happened without the advice and work of a large number of people, among whom Janet Hooper (SAC), Dick Leonard and George Houser (ACOA), and Bob van Lierop (AIS) should be especially noted. Bill Booth, chairman of the Committee, was espcially helpful as well. The newsletter discuses Ambassador Dramane Ouattara of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), the Southern Africa Committee (SAC), the American Committee on Africa (ACOA), Stephanie Urdang (journalist), Robert Maurer, Charles C. Diggs, Jr. (member of Congress), Robert Van Lierop and the Africa Information Service (AIS).
