The press release says that the Congressional Black Caucus has introduced legislation designed to liquidate all American business operations in the Republic of South Africa, South West Africa, Rhodesia and the territories under Portuguese control. The press release quotes Representative Ronald V. Dellums, the chief sponsor of the measure (H.R. 13147). The bill sets up a Reparations Commission. U.S. business would be given one year from issuance of the Commission report to fully liquidate their holdings.
