The leaflet says Continental Bank "[v]iolated your democratic and freedom-loving principles by financially supporting the minority government in South Africa which is responsible for the RACIST and BRUTAL repression and economic EXPLOITATION of over 15 million Africans." Continental Bank offered a 10-year credit of $48.6 million to the South African government for the purchase of U.S. diesel locomotives. The African-American Solidarity Committee calls on people to withdraw their accounts from Continental Bank. This leaflet may have been handed out at a demonstration outside the bank.
