The demonstration demands were: U.S. out of South Africa, end Reagan's support of apartheid, divestment of all Columbia University stocks linked to South Africa, and support the liberation struggles in South Africa and Namibia. The speakers were Henry Isaacs, Chief UN Representative of the Pan Africanist Congress; Judge William Booth, President, American Committee on Africa; Mister Michael Amon-Ra, Co-chairperson NY Black United Front; and student activists.
