Non 'Homeland' Areas • This pamphlet is a reprint of a report by churches in Namibia on the electoral process culminating in the 4-8 December 1978 election in Namibia. The introduction by the Episcopal Churchmen for South Africa notes that the entire process was boycotted by the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) and smaller parties. The report by the Christian Centre deals largely with the heavily populated northern regions of Namibia where the South African army was concentrated. The pamphlet discusses the South West African People's Organization (SWAPO), the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA), AKTUR, the Churches in Namibia, the South African Defence Force (SADF), the South African Police (SAP), Justin Ellis, the Christian Centre, the United Nations Security Council, P.W. Botha, P.A. du Toit, the Registration Proclamation, AG 37, the Administrator General, Angolan refugees, Jonas Kaufipa, Johannes Kashiukile, Petrus Shimhulu, Oshakati, the 1975 Owambo elections, Radio Owambo, Radio Kavango, homeland ministers, Minister Ndjoba, and unemployment.
