Report on the results of the House of Representatives action on the Export-Import Bank authorization bill. An amendment by Rep. Tsongas which would have ended all Export-Import Bank financing to South Africa was accepted by the Committee on Banking, Currency and Monetary Policy. But this was replaced by the House by an amendment by Rep. Evans which stops short of a total ban on financing to South Africa.
