Action Alert on a visit to Rhodesia by Clark MacGregor, a former aid to President Nixon. MacGregor's comments on Rhodesian radio raised a concern that the U.S. might be considering recognizing white-ruled Rhodesia. The alert asks people to send letters to President Nixon, Senator Fulbright and U.S. Representative to the United Nations George Bush. The U.S. had been violating United Nations sanctions against Rhodesia by importing chromium, nickel and asbestos.
