Bill Minter, chairman of the committee, reviewed the history of the committee including its founding in1964; activities in 1964-65: participation in the UCC sponsored UN Seminar on South Africa, the Emphasis Week, Chase Manhattan demonstrations, recommendations to the National Council of Churches. Most of the meeting was spent discussing present commitments, plans and priorities. There was a review of the summer's activities of Southern Africa oriented groups. Basil Brown, Secretary of the Christian Council on Southern Africa, spoke to the committee.
