Letter seeking support for a resolution before the Madison Common Council "to implement Council Resolution 29.355 of June 29, 1976." The resolution seeks to award city contracts and purchase agreements to companies which have chosen not to develop economic interests in South Africa. This letter may not have been a Madison Area Committee on Southern Africa (MACSA) document but several signers were members of MACSA enclosures apparently were written by MACSA. Included with the letter is a leaflet Explication of the Resolution and a petition.
